We got up and had a hostel breakfast of eggs and bread, coffee and juice. Marky had dulce de leche pancakes which were very sweet unsurprisingly! We went for a stroll along the beach in the direction of the beach bars and cafes and ended up going on a banana boat ride pulled by a jetski. We got tied into some broken life jackets and then dragged along the coastline, very close to shoreline swimmers and were jumped over by a kitesurfer! Health and safety here is a very broken thing, but it makes for good fun! We had a coffee from a local beach café (got overcharged for a disgusting instant coffee) and then went back to the hostel for some more food. Earlier in the day I had cleared our room out and returned some dirty glasses and given a half full bottle of flat coke in to be disposed of. We ordered some coca cola later in the day and realised we were served glasses of the flat coca cola I had asked them to get rid of! That is so South American! We chilled poolside for the afternoon and then after much deliberation went up to the room to watch the sunset from our balcony (trying to get a decision out of the four of us is like getting blood from a stone, which means anything we do takes a while!) We drank some of Markys miniature Ciroc vodkas on the balcony with some coca cola whilst the sun went down.

Marky is BA cabin crew so was treated to some free miniature vodkas off record on his flight to Lima. We strolled along one of the mud tracks and the four of us ended up sharing a pizza and having cocktails in a quiet bar before ending up in the local party hostel called Loki. There was a lively neon party that was very cringe. Goldie bought us shots that were disgusting and probably would be at least a double measure in England, and a rum and coke that tasted weirdly watered down. Goldie and Josh managed to drink mine and Markys for us and then we made our way back to our hostel, which was quite lively too. Goldie and Josh were next level by this point, so Marky and I decided to play our own game of tequila pong (beer pong with shots of tequila) I really don’t recommend! On a task to find water we ended up in a casino down the road where we fiddled around a bit confused on some slot machines before heading back to the hostel, which was still very lively!
