We got up and had hostel breakfast. Josh got tucked under the blankets to keep warm and started working on his photos on the laptop. He has been feeling a bit ill with a cough so needed to rest. I showered and got up slowly before walking to the San Pedro market. It is so atmospheric in there, fresh juices, hot dinners, bread, rice, fruit veg, textiles, souvenirs, you name it, they have got it! I wandered around until I came across a veg stall, and bought a load of vegetables from a little Peruvian lady. I walked home via the Orion supermarket and with a little pitstop for coffee at the local café. I got back to the hostel and we made ourselves fajitas for lunch. Josh had had enough screen time so we got ourselves together and walked to the main plaza to sit on the steps and chatted away to each other, people watching, and enjoying the last couple of hours of daylight. We went home via a little bakery where we shared a chocolate brownie and a muna tea to help warm us up. We continued with photo/diary work before eating a quick supernoodle dinner and getting settled into bed.

About us

We are Josh and Jen and we created this site so we could have somewhere to combine Jens writing and Josh's photos of our year traveling together. It is a little keepsake for us, and also a way for friends and family to keep up to date with where we are and what we are up to.
