We got up slowly and had a scrambled egg breakfast at Laguna. We had a really relaxing day, read our books and magazines, went our for lunch, had a coffee, and then had a sunset surf. I was with Pilar and Josh with an instructor called Carlos. Josh took a smaller board out today! For the first time it clicked and I really felt like I surfed a wave! It is such an exhilarating, exciting feeling, but is still a fleeting moment for me, whilst I am still trying to find my balance, bend low and get my feet in the right position. But it is nice to see/feel progress! We went back to Laguna and showered before going to a nice Asian restaurant for dinner.

About us

We are Josh and Jen and we created this site so we could have somewhere to combine Jens writing and Josh's photos of our year traveling together. It is a little keepsake for us, and also a way for friends and family to keep up to date with where we are and what we are up to.
