I woke up and wandered to the main square where there was a Sunday morning procession, military troops with rifles, marching and singing, I don’t really know what it was about but it was quite interesting! I think there is something interesting in the main plaza every Sunday. Josh stayed in bed and tried to get some more rest. I came home and we put some Netflix on and we ordered a McDonalds delivery, we hadn’t eaten dinner yesterday as we had got a bit carried away, so were pretty hungry/sicky today! We ate and napped and then showered and wandered down to the main square again where we sat in the sun with an ice cream. We spent a little bit of time wandering around town before coming back to our room to relax again before heading for some dinner. We ended up walking to a Thai restaurant called Indigo near the main square and enjoying a Pad Thai. After dinner we popped our head into all the haunts from the previous night, as I had lost my jacket on our night out and we had been waiting all day for the bars to reopen again to go and look for it. Although the chances of getting it back were very slim, I couldn’t justify buying a new one without trying my best to get it back. In retrospect I remember hanging it on the back of a bar stool whilst we were dancing, and not seeing it since! Hopefully it has gone to a good home. Of course we didn’t find it, so I did a bit of retail therapy and bought myself a new jacket. It’s money I could have done without spending but quite a good way to cure a hangover, plus the shopkeeper gave me 10% discount! We went back home and got ourselves tucked up into bed.
