No alarms set this morning, bliss! Although it did mean waiting for Josh to wake up for a couple of hours - the boy can sleep! We had a really leisurely morning, coffee in bed, eggy brunch, diary catch up and a bit of admin. Got a call from Charlie and got offered the job which was a bit of good news. I accepted before I had time to hesitate, so looks like I am doing it then! Rang mum straight away and had a little catch up on the phone, she is heading to the Isle of White if storm Dennis permits it. We got an Uber to the mall and spent a couple of hours wandering around in the air conditioning. We ate a custard tart, and some of the delicious cheesy gooey balls. We walked along to another bigger mall, we are looking for specific Havaiana flip flops but they aren’t in stock. All the shops have funky carnival clothes in stock, which is getting us in the mood, although all our fun clothes are in England sadly! We got an Uber back to the apartment and bought some bits from the supermarket on our way in. Our hosts son had his 13th birthday today so there were loads of people in the apartment. We made some dinner, and had an early night.
