I had a pretty bad night with regard to stomach cramps and toilet stops, so had a quick chat with dad in the morning who suggested starting antibiotics as it has been 10 days of a dodgy tummy. I took my first tablet (dad had stocked my first aid kit up before we left England) and stayed in bed whilst Josh went and got himself breakfast. It wasn’t long before I vomited the tablet straight back up again, a bit embarrassing as the whole building definitely heard! Josh managed to find a bucket and then was given a mug and spoon to make me some dioralyte. We stayed in bed for a lot of the morning until Josh needed more food. I sat outside on the veranda whilst he ate and then we went poolside and played monopoly deal late in the afternoon. We took a little stroll around the grounds, which were absolutely beautiful. It is a site about 10 minutes from the town, but is out of season so everything is a bit overgrown.

There are loads of flowers and lemon trees and a view across the valley. We went back to our room and rested again before dinner where I braved some tomato pasta that didn’t go down too badly. We showered and watched t.v. in bed, We have started watching The Crown which is really good!

About us

We are Josh and Jen and we created this site so we could have somewhere to combine Jens writing and Josh's photos of our year traveling together. It is a little keepsake for us, and also a way for friends and family to keep up to date with where we are and what we are up to.
