Sorted the animals out then we spent the morning working. Josh was on pool and varnishing duties and I on room cleaning, kitchen cleaning along with some gardening (pulling up spiky flowers, I have no idea what I’m doing!) We finished slightly earlier than usual because Leonora said we had been extra helpful yesterday at the party. After lunch Josh and I got a lift to Bianchi, a big winery just around the corner from the farm. We had 6 glasses of wine and a big platter of cured meat, cheese and olives, for less than £8 in total! An absolute bargain! We bought ourselves a bottle of white to take home, as it was such good value it would be rude not to. I think we will probably try and go back again before we leave, Frederico said he would like to come with us. We started walking back in the warm evening sun when Leonora drove past and gave us a lift home. After helping them with a few bits at home we all shared a meatball and spaghetti dinner in the garden, washed up and went to bed.

About us

We are Josh and Jen and we created this site so we could have somewhere to combine Jens writing and Josh's photos of our year traveling together. It is a little keepsake for us, and also a way for friends and family to keep up to date with where we are and what we are up to.
