24/12/2109 – Buenos Aires, Argentina

We woke up still drunk, showered and then felt the hangover hit as we started sobering up! Josh managed to get to and from the supermarket just in time. We hadn’t eaten much yesterday so food was very much welcomed. We ate rubbish and chilled, and then got back into bed and put Friends on. I fell asleep again for a couple of hours. When I woke up I felt totally fine, but Josh not so much! I left Josh in bed and went for a stroll around the local area. It was about 16:00 on Christmas eve and it was like an eery ghost town. Liliana, our host last week, had told us that they celebrate Christmas on the 24th and 25th here, so I suppose it would be the equivalent of wandering the streets of central London on 25th! I wandered around for a couple of hours and then came home via the supermarket. We had gnocchi and vegetables for dinner, showered, and fell asleep to Friends on the ipad!
