We got up at our leisure and had coffee and scrambled eggs (we have missed that!) It was about 13:00 before we made it out of the house. We wandered around the streets of Palermo to Plaza de Armenia, a really nice area that we are fairly familiar with now! There was a very nice atmosphere about the place. We browsed the quirky independent shops and Josh found a barber to get his haircut in, he has gone short! We went to a busy coffee shop called Rebellion for a refreshment. On the way home we stopped in a vintage shop and I got myself a playsuit for £10, its quite retro! We walked back home and by the time we got in were super hungry. We fixed ourselves up yummy snacks – crisps, olives, saucisson, hummus etc and relaxed for a few hours. Josh opened the malbec rose wine we had bought at the supermarket and before we knew it we had also drunk the Christmas fizz and were on our way out to the club around the corner. It was quite busy considering it was a Monday and only about 23:00, which is early for South America, most of their clubs don’t open until 02:00! We drank tequila shots that tasted nothing like tequila and ended up befriending a couple who were doctors, roughly our age, and from Liverpool. We also very literally bumped into a Scottish guy that we had hung out with in the hostel we worked in in Chile, which was a funny coincidence. We got a taxi home and worked out we must have crashed out before 03:00!
