We woke up with time for a coffee before work, and Josh had some cereal that we had bought yesterday in the supermarket. Josh and Casper fed the animals and I got breakfast ready. I really want to do the animals in the morning too but three people is a bit overkill! Samantha and Casper leave tomorrow so I am planning on doing it with Josh thereafter. It was grey and drizzly. We had breakfast and then Josh and Casper were set to work doing some sanding in the guest rooms. Samantha was given some cleaning jobs, and I the ironing because it is usually done in the room that Josh and I are sleeping in. It was pretty chilled for me, I had BBC6 Music playing on my phone, was warm and dry, nothing to worry about! At lunch time Frederico made some mate tea for us to try, which is an Argentinian caffeine rich herbal tea, usually drunk and shared from a small cup and straw. It was so bitter and definitely not to either Josh or my taste! Instead, Josh and I had a coffee. We had a lunch together of rice, chickpeas and vegetable made by Samantha, and then Josh and I cleared up.
We chilled in the afternoon, and fed the animals at 16:30 as is our daily routine. We spoke with Alice and Emily on a video call for quite a while!
We had artichokes for dinner, which are in season here at the moment. None of us had really cooked them before so Frederico enjoyed watching us learn and experience it with him! They were tasty.
