Josh was up at 07:30 to drop Peter at the hospital, he had an appointment about his knee or something. The guests from Santiago in bungalow 1 were checking out, and a Japanese couple were arriving today. There was not much time between the two, so Josh helped me clean. I think Peter was impressed at our speed, we got a big thank you and a well done which was nice! Although there was a weird moment when he told us ‘they don’t like it when you wear shoes inside and they like to have baths which uses a lot of gas’ talking generally about Japanese people very loudly in front of the new guests to us! We were like uhmmm ok, sorry and kicked our flip flops off outside. Peter definitely means well but it is funny how different people from different cultures express themselves! We finished cleaning the other bungalows and then did some laundry before lunch. We had egg fried rice and stir fried meat and veg. Josh and I cleared up. We went back to our studio and played some monopoly deal. We have a laegue going and it is getting quite competitive! (It’s currently 23 - 16 to me, from playing sets of the best of three, and the first to 25 gets bought lunch!) We read our books for a bit before going for a 5km run at 18:00. It is very warm in the low sun! Nice to be out although a dog chased me and nearly nipped by bum before Josh managed to shoo it away. For some reason the wild dogs always come for me and not Josh, maybe because I am smaller, I don’t know. I am glad I have had my rabies jab though as I wont be too surprised if I get bitten! We got in and showered, and had a tuna sweetcorn pasta dinner. I started reading the book Educated that mum had recommended and am hooked already! I think in the past week I have read more than I have collectively over the last 3 years!
