We woke up at 0800 and had cereal and coffee in bed. We were ready to start working at 10:00. I cleaned the 3rd bungalow and then the guests in bungalow 2 checked out so I had to do a deep clean. Josh dropped Peter off at the hospital as he has been feeling unwell for the past week, and then drove to the airport to collect some new guests. Josh had to greet the new guests with a sign and presented flower garlands over their heads like most of the holiday stays do at the airport! When Josh got back he and Petra helped me finish up – we had to do some musical chairs of the beds amongst the bungalows. The new guests were shown in and then I did the quick clean of bungalow 1, which Josh helped me with. I heard my name being called by Peter so popped my head out, one of the new guests had fallen on a stone and cut her knee quite badly and he wanted me to have a look as they were considering going to hospital. I asked her to get in the shower to wash it properly and then said I would take a look. Josh got called up for lunch and I put a dressing on the ladies knee. First bit of nursing in nearly 6 months! Then I went up and joined the others for lunch. The girls are off school as it is their kind of half term. We had spaghetti with some cheesy sauce and salad, lovely! We helped clear up afterwards and then I finished the bungalows, tidied the laundry room, and did a few loads of washing. We relaxed in our studio, and I fell asleep reading the kindle and had a nap. Josh read some of his book too. Then we had some rice and vegetables for dinner. Peter came and knocked on our door at about 20:00 and asked Josh to clean the guest car, in preparation for tomorrow. I helped but thankfully it wasn’t a lengthy job as Josh had done such a thorough job before the previous guests used it. We showered, played a few games of Monopoly deal, read our books, and set our alarms for the morning.
