We got up and had some breakfast in bed (I mean there’s no where else to eat it in our studio, apart from outside, so it is always breakfast and dinner in/on bed!) We started cleaning the bungalows at around 10:00. It was quite drizzly this morning so the guests stayed inside a bit longer than normal so I was kind of hovering and waiting for them to leave before I could start! The weather here can change really quickly. It has been a consistently warm temperature, but has spouts of being really drizzly and windy, followed by gorgeous episodes of sun. Josh got assigned some gardening and weeding, and I found him at the end of the garden in a little corner by the fence wearing a grey onesie that made him look like a prisoner! I didn’t know Josh knew anything about gardening (I don’t think he does really!) so it was kind of amusing! We got called up to the house at around 14:00 for lunch. Today we had ribs and mashed potato. Josh and I cleared up and then Peter sat us down, made us a cup of coffee each, and gave us a beautiful sweet treat each I think they must have bought from town this morning, and he didn’t say it but it felt like his way of saying thank you for the hard work! It went down a treat. Peter also went through our schedule for our stay here so we know when our days off will be e.t.c. We went back down to the laundry room and finished sorting it our before chilling in our studio for a little while, on our kindles. I went for a 5km (ish – not too sure) jog but Josh’s legs were still too painful so he stayed and read his book. Josh has started running in his ‘barefoot’ sandals and he says it uses different muscles which is why it is harder on the legs. I ran in the beautiful low sun, along the grassy coastline towards the town and back. We are spoilt having this at our doorstep! When I got back we had a gnocchi and veg dinner. We played some monopoly deal, and read our books, gloriously happy with both a bit of routine and more of a body clock than we have had almost ever!
