We got up for the hostel breakfast, omelette, roll, juice and coffee. Josh shaved his beard into a moustache when we were getting ready this morning! Then we wandered down to a beachfront café with double hammock deck chair things which were really cool, and got ourselves a frappuccino each. They were gloriously over the top with ice cream and chocolate sauce, served in a jam jar and with an eco straw! Josh also got a fresh coconut to drink, and scraped out the coconut flesh with a spoon, delicious! We chattered away in the sun, Josh had a wander with the camera and I had a little nap. The sea breeze makes the temperature a lot more comfortable! After a while we wandered back into Palomino to an eco vegetarian café/shop. I had the salad bowl which was quinoa and a load of vegetables and pesto with a slice of fresh homemade bread, Josh had a huge egg, tofu and salad sandwich.

Bellies full we wandered back down to the same café as earlier and had a coffee on a sun lounger. Josh left at about 17:00 to go to the barber, which was next door to our accommodation. He said he was so sweaty they had to direct the fan onto him and wait for him to cool down before they cut his hair! He returned to me a good hour later with very short back and sides. Alongside the moustache he created this morning, and with his piercings, he looks like very European!

He came back and met me (I had enjoyed a nice mojito on the sunlounger!) and we watched the sunset before heading back home.

We showered and popped out to a place called ‘Sua’ for dinner. It is a sustainable/eco restaurant I think. We got to choose our meat and sauce from a big selection, we both had chicken with garlic butter sauce, coconut rice and a side salad, very nice indeed! The coconut rice here is absolutely delicious! Then we went home and into bed, fell asleep watching some Netflix (Santa Clarita Diet).
