We had a no alarm day, which was very much needed! After a coffee in bed Josh and I cracked on with some necessary admin. We booked our flights home for March next year, which was a bit of a moment! It is so weird to think of this all ending, but by the time it comes around we know we will be excited to head home. Mixed feelings! We spoke to mum and dad briefly to organise with them. We also had to book some things up for Salvador carnival as prices are escalating so quickly there, I am expecting it to be quite busy and buzzing! We did a whole morning of organising ourselves, always trying to make sure we get the best value for money whatever we are doing and wherever we are going. It was raining until mid afternoon so we were perfectly happy just in our little cabin. We had some food and then went out for a walk. It was really windy but the sun came out so it wasn’t too cold. We walked along the deserted beach, the waves were huge and crashing against the black rocks. It definitely blew the cobwebs away! Everything was closed up and there was barely anyone around, which was actually really nice! I can imagine the town comes to life in the summer as a surf party town. We walked to the shop and picked up some things for dinner then came home and made some pasta, watched Friends, and enjoyed putting the heating on and hearing the waves and the wind outside!
