Woke up a little worse for wear, unsurprisingly! In the morning we hung out with the other volunteers, who were all a bit hungover. Josh did some half-hearted electrical work, before we went into town and treated ourselves to a pizza and coca cola. We came back to the hostel, showered and then I napped all afternoon, and Josh chilled on the WiFi. I was on cover shift in the evening, which mostly consisted of another BBQ with the guests and volunteers in the garden. It had a great friendly atmosphere, and we all shared our food around. Josh and I snuck off to bed after I finished my shift and the stragglers ended up out at Mamas and Tapas – the local club. It is a few of the volunteers’ final week so Luca, Uri and Alex have been boozing through the last few days non-stop!

Josh did his last electrical shift in the hostel, and I had my last bar shift today! We wandered through town for the last time together...

About us

We are Josh and Jen and we created this site so we could have somewhere to combine Jens writing and Josh's photos of our year traveling together. It is a little keepsake for us, and also a way for friends and family to keep up to date with where we are and what we are up to.
