Josh did some electrical work in the day. I did a yoga session with Nea on the grass by the lake. Joel (the aussie we met on the hike yesterday) came and checked into our hostel! I have a feeling he is slightly autistic, and enjoyed having people to talk to yesterday, so came to our hostel for more of the same. He has attached himself to Josh! The volunteers set up the BBQ in the late afternoon, as the weather was beautiful again. I worked on the bar in the evening. A British couple the same ages as Josh and I sat at the bar for most of the night, and were quite entertaining. The guy, Ned, orchestrated a wine tasting session using his Vevino app, and a small bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the bar. I joined the BBQ in the garden after locking up, and piscos and vodka and tequila were being passed around in abundance. I remember having a very sugary bright pink drink with a marshmallow in it at some stage and being told it is called an earthquake drink, which is a Chilean cocktail. Apparently it is called that because of how shaky you can feel afterwards! All of the volunteers were having a good time, alongside a big group of South American guests from all over the continent. When you have all had a drink and there is music and dancing, it doesn’t matter what language you speak, its all gobbledygook anyway! One of the Chilean guys gave us all a twerking lesson which was funny! Before midnight we locked up and relocated outside the hostel, to the beach. The hostel has a strict rule of silence at midnight because lots of people get up early for activities, and it is a rule that is well respected here. Mind you we were only a further 20 meters away from the hostel on the beach, but I suppose we couldn’t really get into trouble for that! We had a little party on the beach, drinking and dancing with some speakers. When I was too cold, I went up to bed.
