We are leaving today! Sad to leave but also excited for some change and a lie in! We had brunch and then packed our things and cleaned our room and made the bed for the next volunteer. They are expecting a French girl soon who will be solely in charge of the animals and especially to ride the horses. With a bit of time to spare before our bus to Mendoza, I downloaded Adam Kays Christmas book and started reading it whilst hanging my legs in the pool. Got to make the most of having a swimming pool! When the time came, we did a little lap of the farm and said goodbye to the animals (they didn’t care, we didn’t have any food on us) and then said our goodbyes to everyone in the house. Frederico took us to the bus stop near the San Rafael airport and we said our goodbyes. Josh and I were on the bus by about 13:10. Josh plugged into a podcast and I finished Adam Kays book in record time, it is an entertaining read! We got off three hours later at Mendoza bus station and found ourselves a taxi to our air bnb. We had booked ourselves the same air bnb we had stayed at in Mendoza before, as it was so comfortable (and cheap!) We got in and settled, but it wasn’t long before Josh was marching us down the road of bars to find somewhere to watch the Anthony Joshua boxing match. We found somewhere a few blocks away, and had a mojito whilst we watched it. After the fight, we found a pizza place nearby, which we were very happy about! The evening temperature is a beautiful shorts and tee shirt level, even at around 23:00. We went home after dinner and collapsed into bed, where we fell asleep watching The Crown.
