05/10/2019 – Volunteering, Easter Island, Chile

The rain was coming down all day, so strong, it was like a tropical storm it was so wet! Josh and I did the bungalow cleaning then battoned down the hatches in our studio. We only had varnishing to do but it was genuinely too wet to do it. I used the time to write a document for Peter to give any future Workaways, one that explains how things work, the routine of the work, something I think I would have greatly appreciated having when I started here. I emailed it over and he seemed to like it so at least it was something productive! We had lunch in the house with Tiare, Anabel and Leo. Josh and I cleared up and then went back to our studio. It continued to pour and pour and pour with rain, so we just tucked up into our books!
